Getting there
Take an overnight ferry from mainland Italy with your own motorcycle and book the bike on the ticket.
Livorno and Genoa are the most useful departure ports for many riders. Once in Olbia, follow the east-coast road south toward Ogliastra rather than treating the arrival day as another tour.
The plan after arrival
Check in, leave the luggage at the base, and start the three riding days the following morning: SS125 north, Ogliastra inland, then Golgo and the coast.
